This article examines exploitation in tourism. The study summarizes current literature on trafficking in tourism and discusses the current state of sex trafficking in the tourism industry. The paper summarizes major initiatives in the industry and concludes by providing warning signs and indicators of trafficking that can be useful for tourism employees.
