NHS Hotels & Homelessness– Modern Slavery Training

We are all aware of the impact that COVID-19 has had on our lives. The housing of people experiencing homelessness in hotels will definitely have a positive impact, but we also need to be aware of the risks of exploitation occurring.

This training video has been produced for staff working in hotels and with the homeless community. It is designed to equip frontline workers with the basic knowledge to identify and report exploitation taking place on their sites. It covers:

Prevalence of Modern Slavery
Methods of control & coercion
Types & signs of exploitation
How to report an incident
Questions to ask someone you might suspect is being exploited
Steps to supporting a survivor of exploitation
