STOP THE TRAFFIK, a UK registered charity and pioneer in human trafficking prevention, has recently through its Centre for Intelligence Led Prevention Project launched the STOP APP, “the first app of its kind to combine community empowerment, big data management and anti-trafficking expertise to disrupt and prevent human trafficking“.

Their STOP APP, downloadable on App Store or Google Play, helps the users to safely and securely share and/or report suspicious details and cases which they believe to be in connection with human trafficking or modern slavery.

The shared information will then be directly stored at and analysed by their Centre for Intelligence Led Prevention, which is then “used to build intelligence on global trends and hotspots of human trafficking“, thus in turn enabling them “to disrupt, prevent and predict this criminal activity.”
